Counterweights:The overall balance of a golf club is very important to achieve the optimal results by producing more solidness of contact, consistency, speed and greater distance. A club that is overall too head heavy is difficult to return the club to a square position. In addition, it may encourage a player to release the club too early in the downswing and rob a player of valuable distance. Counter-balance plugs can help solve these problems by shifting the balance point of the club closer to the hands. Think of it the same way as a figure skater pulls their arm in toward their body making them spin faster. The counter-balance plugs essentially have the same benefit and great for over-length clubs. These are easily inserted into the butt end of the shaft prior to installing the grip. Now you can fine-tune your clubs with our counter-balance plugs now available for both steel and graphite shafts. The models for steel will fit shafts with a 0.600” butt or larger.

These are great to counterbalance graphite shafts with. A little masking task wrapped around it to make it a snub fit and pop them in before gripping. Quick to do, great low cost.

Easy counterweighting at a reasonable price. Increments between weights are just right for adjusting to counter balancing needs. I work with a client until the correct counter balance is identified, and then I complete the set. Much more attractive and reliable than drilling a hole in the butt of the grip. Customers love the result.
