I've been working on golf clubs for the past 3 yrs. and had an occasion or two to save a good grip or have a new one installed. The latter always won until now. I was fortunate to have some spare shafts with grips to practice before attempt on a customer's club. It took me 4-5 tries but I eventually got all the grips off. It got easier as more grip removals were completed. I suggest you wear some eye protection to prevent solution from entering your eyes. Also, using the extend hose made removals alot easier.

Great time-saver removing grips. Pulled 12 grips in about 7 minutes. It's a lttle messy with the solvent after injected into grip, but can't be avoided. No comparison to Golfworks or Golfsmiths rod system. If done correctly, there is not any tape left in grip. One needle should last if inserted carefully and not forced

Broke the needle on the 1st day, luckly I bought an extra; Don't buy it, it's a waste of time.
Golf Smiths Spring Grip remove is a better tool.
