As a clubmaker, I have several books on the subject. I find this book to add to the ones that I already have. It has several subjects and tips that the other's dont.

There are some grammatical errors, but I think I have an OCD when it comes to that stuff. Aside from that, the book is easy to understand. I think it spends a lot of time on persimmon clubs, but then again, there are many people who still use them, and they deserve to have people knowledgeable in building/repairing their clubs.

Overall, the book is very useful. My only compliant is that to much of the book was about wooden heads. Other than that, very helpful and up-to-date.
