Acer XP 905 Comp Fairways:Redistributing weight where it is needed the most, the Acer XP 905 Comp series brings the most advanced technology into fairway woods. Moving the weight as low and back away from the face reduces the spin rate while increasing the launch angle creating the optimum distance and accuracy. This is only possible through the use of an ultra-lightweight carbon crown as opposed to a much heavier stainless steel material used in most of today? fairway clubs. Not only is the carbon crown extremely functional, but provides a beautiful appearance at address.

I bought the 10.5 on closeout for very cheap and used an SK Fiber Tour Trac 80. I wanted a shorter (44") heavier driver with less loft than I had been hitting. This club delivers. I don't care for the sound, which is a VERY muted thwack. Not objectionable, just strange. But it sets up very nicely and feels solid. I've gained a decent amount of distance due to the lower loft, so I'm happy. It seems pretty forgiving, but does have a slight left tendency. I would have liked a little more weight than the 198.5 it came as, but it was listed at 198 so that is good quality control, and I was able to add enough weight with a 9 gram tip pin to barely get the desired swingweight. This driver head is great, it's long and accurate!! it might sound a little mute but it does give good feedback. Might be a closeout head but i think Jeff should look at just making some update on this model rather than eliminate it. since hireko has taken over dynacraft the product is better. i out a cadence pro 65 r flex shaft also a closeout for not much money i will put it up against anything!!

I put the comp inversion, 10.5 on a graffalloy prolaunch blue 65. I was hitting the prophet comp. This is a lot better. The ball comes off the clubhead so sweet and If I really nail it, the results are awesome. I would surely recommend to anyone

The Muffled sound the driver makes will trick you into believing you have not hit it very far. I coupled this head with the EI 70 stiff shaft for an average of 285 off the tee. I have the 10.5 loft. It has pushed my Prophet Draw biased 10 degree into the closet for the rest of the season.

PURCHASED THE DRIVER,3WD,5WD SO I COULD TEST THE MCS 70GRAM HIGH BEND POINT TIP STIFF SHAFTS. TURNS OUT TO BE A GREAT COMBO FOR MY SWING, GREAT DISTANCE AND VERY WORKABLE. MATCH THE RIGHT SHAFT WITH THIS HEAD AN YOU'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY.

bought this club as a special with an NVS shaft. No doubt the "poorest" club shaft combo I've ever hit. Terrible feedback and a significant loss of distance compared to my "Golfsmith" driver. So bad that I am thinking there is something wrong with the head. Gives me pause on other Heriko components.

I assembled this club to try out with an Aggressive Frenzy 60 shaft I had bought. I had previously played a Dynacraft Prophet draw-biased driver with a Accuflex VS339 and have been liking the idea of the composite crowned driver more and more. However, I feel the Prophet at 10 degrees had too high a trajectory for me. So, when I saw this club with a 9.1 degree offering, I was excited. Anyway, the Frenzy plays with a little more torque and a slightly lower kick point than the VS339, but the trajectory coming off this club has been great for me. I'm now hitting some drives with a lot of carry, high and flat
