When in doubt, apply more heat (at least with steel). The K1's are pretty old. You could try to squirt some 3 in 1 oil or WD-40 at the top of the hosel and hopefully it will penetrate down inside the hosel. Leave it sit over night, wipe off any excess oil then reheat. If that doesn't work, you may need a leverage block to twist the head loose.
You won't find inexpensive taper tip graphites. The least expensive (and good quality shaft) is the SK Fiber Tour Performance. We do not stock the A-flex, but we can special order it. You could also re-bore the hosels to parallel.
