[b]Hi , need some advice and help. I am reshafting(graphite) a biggest big bertha , 7 degrees, with a new Hireko regular flex graphite shaft. I would like, in order to make it simpler task , to use a plug to make it an M1 bore. Some question have come to mind during my search. What is the size shaft, does it have a special ferrule, and any recomedation on a shaft for a smooth tempo dsfi betwwen 87-93 to match the bore with the 7 degrees of loft? Please eloborate on any points of interest. Thanks you. P.S. I suggested a new Caimen driver!

The Biggest Big Bertha used a standard .335" shaft. Since there is no hosel, you cannot plug the bottom; the shaft has to penetrate all the way through the bottom of the sole. If you are using the Hireko regular flex shaft, then no tip trimming will be required. You can use the FR10-10 ferrule (1/8" tall) to replicate what would have originally been on the club. The one issue would be the loft. At 7*, no shaft is going to create a significantly higher launch angle. He may be best off with a new driver rather than a club that is over 10 years old.
