Hello! I'm on buying the Acer XP 905 tour irons, but i have heard that the irons are rusting, is this true?

What's the difference between the 905 pro's and these ones?

The thing is, i want a quality club that can give me quality in long time in the future? What shall i buy?

The difference between the Pro and Tour is their construction and materials. The Pro is an all-stainless steel version. In the construction of Tour version, there are comprised of two pieces. The first is a stainless steel frame and a secondary carbon steel face insert. The insert is placed in the frame and welded together, then the face is then milled flat and the grooves are then engraved onto the face. The rest of the head is then ground, polished and a protective chrome plating is applied to the head to prevent the carbon steel insert from rusting.

While this head has been in our line or sold for @ 3 years, the rusting issue was isolated and I can't remember the last time a customer called or contacted me about this.

Under the right conditions there are a number of ways that rust can accumulate on objects that are supposedly rust-resistant. Since the head had an undercut feature, it may be difficult to thoroughly dry, especially if the customer soaks the head in a bucket of water that might have fertilizer from the golf course. I don't recommend to do that with any club.

My handicap is 15 and i want to go down very much this summer. Which club do u reccomend? I want the best cloned club

. And, is the cloned golf clubs still as good as the "well knowned" clubs?

To better answer your question, I first need to know what you are presently playing with and what problems you are having (fade, pulling, hitting too high, too low, etc.)

What makes up a golf club is far more than the head. It is the shaft, grip and length too. This is why the clubs that we offer can be superior to any off-the-rack set as one-size-fits-all just doesn't work.

Ok. I play with some Callaway x-14 steehead just now. I want something newer and better. They have graphite shaft. I dont like that. I want steel. Im not so high(166 cm).

I have no fade/draw/slice/hook problems. The ball flight is high, and i have a good swing.

Was something of that important for you to know?

The X-14 is a heavily offset iron. If your ball flight is straight I would suggest using the same amount of offset rather than the reduced offset of the XP 905 Tour or Pro. If not it could lead to balls being further right than you are used to.

Going to the steel shafts will help maintain the swingweight / balance at a shorter length for your height.

Hello again!

Is Apollo a quality shaft like True temper dynamic Gold? And if i choose reg flex, is it graphite? I dont hope that!

Now i understand the difference between the clubs, but what about the xk's?

Is the quality of the Tour irons still as good as the xk and pro's? I can't find many reviews of the tour so i either find any pictures of the clubs irl. You know how i can find that?

Part of what you pay for in the premium price of the Dynamic Gold is the weight sorting to make sure there is greater consistency from shaft to shaft. I am not sure about the part of "regular flex, is it graphite". Apollo offers both steel and graphite both in R-flex and a number of models. So it is ultimately what you choose. If you are ordering the standard stock assembled club, that will come with the Apollo Standard Stepped steel.

The Acer XK is the next generation of the Acer XP 905 series. There is no difference in the quaility of one model over another. We use the same care in producing all of our clubs.
