Royal Sand Wrap Grips?   Forum Index -> Ask Hireko Author Message 06/15/2009 05:15:20     Subject: Royal Sand Wrap Grips? tlbowen3@flash.net Joined: Aug 31, 2007 Messages: 31 Offline Jeff, Of the Royal Sand Wrap Grips (sizes .580 & .600), which would be the thicker grip under the same size butt end of a golf shaft? I would think the .600 would be thinner to achieve the same size outer diameter over the slighty larger shaft. I have seen other instances where it was just the opposite and wanted clarification. Jeff Summitt Joined: Jan 13, 2006 Messages: 2541 Offline Tim: The .580" grip will stretch over a .600" butt end and expand making the final grip size larger than the same grip, but with a .600" inside core diameter. I would not go so far to say these have a rougher surface than a cord, it is more textured.
