In looking at these shafts for a FW set I'm putting together, there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the A/L and the R/S.

Am I missing something here? It seems like a small difference in DSFI range, as the high end of the A/L comfortably overlaps the low end of the R/S.

I'm leaning towards the A/L and trimming them a bit stiffer than the trim code recommends. If the two shafts aren't extremely dis-similar, I'd rather not have the add'l weight (11g). As a reference point, my driver SS toggles just above/below 100.

Would I be making a huge mistake going with the A/L shaft?

It might say A&L on the label, but they run on the stiff side. If you want to save weight, look at the Spectre Lite which is only $2 more.
