Jeff;
I'm going to be building clubs for a big and pretty strong guy. His Driver swing speed is 105. I would like to keep the driver length at 44 1/2" with a D-2 or D-3 swing weight.
What are your recommendations to get the desired SW. I'll be using the Avator Driver and 3 wood & 5 wood. The grip will be tour velvet .600, 52 grams.
Thanks,
The Clubmaker

Even with a 6g tip pin at 44.5", you are probably only going to achieve a D-1 swingweight at best unless you opt for a heavier shaft (like in the 70s or more). I would be more concerned with length, then shaft weight or overall weight than I would swingweight. What kind of budget or name brand are you or your customer looking at?

If I understand you correctly you are referring to $ budget. First of all I would like to stay within the Hireko catalog for all of the components. I guess I'll have to go to 45" which should give me the SW I'm looking for.
Also $ are always in the way.
Thanks for your help

Bob:
If you want the shorter length, heavier swingweight and low $$$, then you can look at something like the Powerflex FW 501.
