Jeff,
First off I am really not intending this to sound like a Dick, I very, very, very much want to do some busniess with your company. I.E. I want to buy two Prophet wedges, two shafts, two grips, ferruls, and grip tape just for starters. Not a huge order, but would be my first with you so I am just taking it easy to start with.
The site LOOKS great. I am sure the the features you have planed will be sweet as well...once they work. For example, to filter results from ...say shaft selection, takes well over 3 minutes to load. That is just to GET TO the True Temper shaft page or what-have-you.
Lest you think I am speaking from my neather regions, I have tried to do this both from my work computer (T1), and my home computer (DSL). 3 min is the BEST time so far with various attempts, spanning over three weeks, just being hopeful the site has been fixed.
Taking any more than 30- 35 sec per page is an eternity to get to where you want to be. This is not even mentioning the constant need to confirm secure vs. non-secure items for every page change. The site becomes very ponderous if you are seeking specific items. It should be the other way around. The more focused my search, the less time it should take.
The net result is a site which creates questions in my mind regarding reliability rather than confidence in the vendor I am trying to do business with.
I know I could call and deal with a sales rep over the phone, but I tried to get some info over the phone and was convinced that waiting for the site to get smothed out and ordering online might be a safer option.( no offense intended to your phone staff AT ALL!!. Just gut feeling)
Now I am not so sure.
Jeff, seriously, You have a great reputation, super product and superior prices. I just need to feel confident that I can place an order, and be free from ANY drama. Back orders are one thing,I can deal with that to some extent, but when a site just does not operate consistantly from day to day or hour to hour, I am way LEEERY of plunking any dough down.
I truly hope that this was received in the spirit in which it was intended. I am by no means bashing you or your people. Just venting some frustration regarding an otherwise, visualy well done site.

Please be patient while the dust is settling on the new site.
