I was asked to replace a Callaway Steelhead 3 metal shaft. Is there a replacement shaft for this bore-through club head?

I would use a True Temper Dynalite cut to R-flex. The Callaway club originally had a .350" shaft, but they have the special ferrule that goes down inside the head. It will need replaced with the VFT ferrule we sell, which also reduces the hosel down to .335".

Thank you for the quick response. Can you tell me the specific part numbers?

The shaft is ULWRS

and the ferrule is VFT.
You will still need to grind the angle cut of the shaft to match the contour of the sole and fill or plug the shaft tip.

Thank you for the part numbers. I screwed up because I didn't tell you I wanted to replace the shaft with a graphite shaft. What would be the graphite shaft equivalent and catalogue part number?
Sorry to be a bother.

I don't think you can find an equivalent graphite shaft to the steel shaft that was originally in it. Callaway used a mid-70g 4.0 torque graphite shaft in that particular model. Something like a SK Fiber Tour Trac 80 (SKTT80-WR) would be a good replacement. However, I would not tip trim the shaft to make up for the bore thru insertion.
