I ordered two irons, Acer XK Pro Iron 5 and 7 (LH). When I received them, I found that the grips were not properly aligned. One was just a little bit misaligned, but the other one was misaligned by a lot. I only requested a replacement grip that was misaligned a lot and am expecting it to arrive soon. My question is "How could this happen in custom order?". I ordered two irons, and both grips were not properly aligned and the area in the ferrule is not clean looking, so I rubbed off some epoxy in the hosel. The shaft lengths of both clubs were accurate, though.
I would like to see improvement in the quality of custom made clubs at Hireko Golf.
BTW, I love the look of these irons, and I hope to test them as soon as my sore elbow cures.
P.S.
I used the Caiman Driver as well as the Caiman 3 (maraging steel) and 5 fw (stainless steel) and I liked them. They are at least just as good as any other OEM clubs. I haven't played enough (only two rounds) to give a review yet.
