Hey,
I watched a few Dynacraft videos on youtube on how to assemble clubs, and I was very much inspired to give this a try. Doing it myself would give me that much more confidence in clubs when I use them.

I found the Rubber clamp, Epoxy A&B, Dbl Sided grip tape and the grip solvent off the Hireko tools & accessories page. I can't find a Shaft Cutter on there, though. I couldn't quite hear on the video about what type of sand paper to use on the shaft.

Also, a question about ferrule's...Are they different sizes and shapes for aesthetic reasons? Hireko's site offers many of them, I don't want to select the wrong one. Maybe if you know what clubs I want, then you can tell me what type of ferrulite to get:

Since it is considerably cheaper to buy components, I was going to get a 3W, 5W and 7W of the Acer XK series, as well as the XK irons 3I-PW. I'm leaning toward the Dynacraft wedges over the XC wedges because I hear good things on the forum.

The tubing cutters can be found at any hardware store, but the special hardened wheels aren't. You can used ordinary sandpaper (80-150 grit works fine). The length of the ferrule is strictly for cosmetics. Typically a shorter ferrule looks better on a head with a shorter hosel. The most important part is the inside diameter and the OD at the base.

Acer XK Iron ID 0.370

Apollo Shadow Steel Shaft
Butt size: 0.600 in
Tip size: 0.370 in (Wood - 0.335 in)

Winn Xi7 XF AVS V17 Midsize 0.600 in

If I did my research right as to how it all fits together, looks like the three pieces are a perfect match for each other. The tip will fit right in with the XK Iron heads, as well the grip swith the butt of the shaft.

this ferrule should work?.

Yes, just make sure to get the ferrule labeled for irons.
