Does golf shafting epoxy have a shelf life?

Yes, most do. After a year the strength diminishes. That's why I would prefer customers buy smaller quantities they can use up quickly than trying to stretch out the lifespan of an older bottle and risk the probability that a head could come loose.

As I live in a northern climate with a golf season that runs April to Nov. I buy smaller quantities and get rid of what I have left over at the end of the season and purchase new every spring when I start up.

I've been building cubs for 25+ years and never have had an epoxy/shaft failure.

This is a common mistake of some to try to save but in the end really spend more. It cannot be stored for long to use again as it wont be as sturdy or strong as the first use.
