Does anyone know how to clean a GP Whisper grip so it gets tacky again? I used them one time and they are slick. Tried rubbing alcohol, then soap and water. Nothing works. Thank you.

There used to be a spray can of stuff sold that would make any grip
sticky. I haven't seen it recently though.

I have a mate who uses "belt grip". It's a spray-on made for adding to the backs of drive belts to mke them grip. Hardware stores may sell it. My mate gets his from the Engineering plant where he works.

Any solvent should not be used on a grip. I've always used plain dishwashing liquid in water. One of the guys at a golf shop suggested Windex as he found it good. Golfworks and Golfsmith used to have a product to retore tackiness. Have a look at their web sites.
