Jeff,
I'm browsing for a shaft similar to the Stealth 70, but the difference in construction specs of the test clubs is leaving me unsure if the DSFI's are apples to apples.
In the archived data, the Stealth 70 was tested at 44" with an M2 head. The head weight was 207 grams. The CPM on the R flex was 250 and the DSFI was 84.
How should a person compare this to a current shaft tested at 45"? Wouldn't the Stealth 70 test stiffer (higher DSFI) today at 45" with a lighter head weight?

Don:
The frequency would be the same at 45" as it was 44", but that would require the head to weigh 10g less at 197g to maintain the same D1 swingweight. The torque would not change enough to matter as the extra length would have been on the butt end. The DSFI would indeed to go up to 87.

Thanks! Did you tip shafts differently for the M2 vs BB heads? Or only if the manufacturer suggested it?

Only if the manufacturer suggested doing so.
