Hi Jeff, can you tell me what shaft tip is used in the Callaway Steelheads? Need to reshaft a set for a guy and not sure--do they still slit the tip and drive them in to fit then put a bore thru plug in or are they taper with a plug or std. with a plug? Cannot seem to find any info on them. Thanks JR

JR:

If these are the original Steelheads and not the II or III, then they will take a parallel tip .335" shaft. This link may help on the shaft / plug installation:

I was thinking you were speaking about the woods, not the irons. But use a .370" parallel tip iron shaft. You may have to run a 9.4mm or a 3/8" drill bit inside the hosel to clean out the old epoxy and remove the small tapered portion at the very bottom of the hosel.
