Hey Jeff,
I will be buying the Caiman, 10.5-R Flex and have a question about a shaft to pair with it. I have read the DSFI and Shaft Fitting info (great stuff!) and have narrowed down to the Aldila NVS 65.
A bit about me...SS 92 mph, moderate tempo w/ slightly quicker downswing and mid/mid high flight (which I want to keep). I currently hit a junk Driver from a dept store with an even worse shaft (Regular flex and crazy whippy). My drives avg 225-235 and 7/10 shots tend to go high and fade right quite a bit.
Any thoughts on the Aldila?
Something to consider...I have an older TM Firesole 3W that I hit straight everytime 200-210 from the deck. The shaft is a stock steel shaft Stiff-90. The shaft is too much and I know I lose distance but can't give it up due to how straight it is. Thought this might be useful.

As long as your swing tempo is more moderate instead of quick, then the NVS in R-flex would be suitable for your swing speed and desire to hit the ball higher. However, if the swing tempo does get quick, you might be able to use the S-flex in that particular shafts. Are there any other driver shafts that you might have hit and hit well as a baseline?

Thanks for the reply. I'm now thinking the Aldila might have to much flex and would rather find a cheaper alternative. I've hit the UST V2 Reg pretty well. I've also tried the Graf Prolaunch Red Reg and it was too strong and too low of ball flight.
I just came across the True Ace Cadence line and the Cadence Orange UL in Stiff looks interesting based on the DSFI #'s. Any thoughts on this shaft? I do like the price (why I'd rather stay away from the UST V2).
Thanks again for your help!

If you are looking at the True Ace Cadence Orange, I would probably stick to the R-flex. Going to the S-flex may be closer to the feel of the ProLaunch Red. You could also trim in-between flexes if you are concerned it might be too flexible, but personally I don't think you will need to.
