For a 61 years old beginner would you recommend the XDS Hybrid or XK HT, or mix and match? e.g. I think may be get the 5 iron in XK HT Hybrid and the 7, 8 & 9 XDS Hybrid irons.
Which is more forgiving, XDS or XK?
Thanks.

My general rule of thumb is use a hybrid in place with any iron you do not feel confident in if you want to mix and match. The XDS are the most forgiving in the same numbered hybrid as the XK due to their larger size. But if you tend to slide or fade the ball a lot, then I think the semi-offset hosel the XK has would be a greater advantage.
