hi jeff (anyone else feel free to chime in),
how much rattlestop should i put in the driver head. the piece i'm trying to catch is about the size of a small shirt button. maybe its a plug? i got it secondhand so i'm not sure what the previous owner did.
should i put in about a thimbles worth? a shot glass worth?
also, i didn't realize rattlestop was so viscous. so i'm assuming its normal to have this stuff wooshing around in the driver head when i swing it. and is it safe to assume that the rattle may come back? if so what's the best plan of action?
any advice and extra tips are greatly appreciated, thanks!

If it is that large and loud, it may be a piece of metal and the rattle stop may not hold or contain it. The sticky stuff is designed more to trap welding slag that may come loose. But if it is a small piece of plastic, like the plastic hosel stop, then a thimble side would be more than sufficient. It is so viscous so that it does not slosh around within the head during play. You may want to put a straw inside the hosel to act as a funnel, otherwise you will additional cleanup.
