Shaft recommendations for 3 Fairway Woods   Forum Index -> Ask Hireko Author Message 07/20/2009 14:05:14     Subject: Shaft recommendations for 3 Fairway Woods sblasq607@comcast.net Joined: Jul 20, 2009 Messages: 1 Offline Dear Jeff; I have 3 Wishon Fairway Woods (3,4,5) and am looking for a recommendation for what shaft to install on these woods. My swing speed with a Driver is 78 MPH. The Shaft on my driver has a low/mid kick-point, torque in excess of 4.0, REGULAR FLEX Graphite shaft, and the weight is 49 grams. My main concern is the spin rate and I like the low/mid kickpoint. Someone has told me that the Fujukura Motore r2 65 gram would be a good fit for me but I don't think it has the right torque for me. Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated. Thanks for your help. Many times, the lower torque shafts are more geared for higher club head speeds. I would see if you could hit a club with that shaft before investing that type of money. You might be better off with the less expensive Fit-On E150 or E160.
