Hello sir,
I have a blue cadence iron/hybrid shaft that i will use for a friend who is relatively new to the game. (going into an acer xk hybrid)
how much does the tipping affect the trajectory and stiffness of this shaft.
i think stiff is good for his swing speed and his need for control but i also want to make sure the shaft helps get the ball up.
would tipping between flexes be the best choice? thanks!
he hits his 5 iron about 180

Trimming in-between flexes will have nominal, if noticeable at all, changes in the ball's trajectory. That shaft is designed to kick the ball up, so I would stay with the S-flex so he has the control.
