(going into an acer xk hybrid) how much does the tipping affect the trajectory and stiffness of this shaft. i think stiff is good for his swing speed and his need for control but i also want to make sure the shaft helps get the ball up. would tipping between flexes be the best choice? thanks! he hits his 5 iron about 180 08/18/2009 08:58:58     Subject: Re:shaft trimming recommendation Jeff Summitt Joined: Jan 13, 2006 Messages: 2541 Offline Trimming in-between flexes will have nominal, if noticeable at all, changes in the ball's trajectory. That shaft is designed to kick the ball up, so I would stay with the S-flex so he has the control.
