At $10, how could one have gone wrong? I used the Dynacraft FWL to build my first fairways and driver. What is most comparable to it in the current lineup?
Price/performance-wise, there's obviously the Acers, the Powerflex 501, and the Apollo graphites.
I know torque doesn't necessarily mean a whole lot, but the FWL was rated at 4.5deg, which is pretty good for $10 shaft! Of course I didn't care about torque back then, but it's interesting to note.

If you are looking at irons, the Dynacraft Super Collider may be pretty close. But in woods, that may a different issue, especially in that price range. In that case you may have to look at something like the SK Fiber Tour Trac 80.

Thanks, Jeff. Yes, woods.
I use the SK Fiber TT80 quite a lot, and it's a great shaft. Something about the FWL really felt good for me though.
Will probably have to experiment.
