it was brought to my attention that the USGA requires that the top grip be at least 5 inches long. The Karma is only 4.5 inches long. So if you install it as designed it doesn't comply with the equiptment rules. I've installed these grips on dozens of clubs. If this is the case would it be possible to make & distribute legal size butt grips that match the existing non conforming ones?

The USGA measures to the end of the grip cap not to the edge of the cap, so there is a little leeway. I measured one I had on a putter and it was 4.94" without doing any additional stretching to it. But no, we don't have any immediate plans of offering a slightly longer version for '10.

My mistake it is longer than 4.5 inches but still under the 5 inch minimum as required for a two piece grip. I also tried to stretch the piece, it is too short to get any extra down the shaft. What would you suggest short of ordering the winn grip that you sell for me to make a long putter that does comply with the equiptment rules?

If the grip cannot be stretched down the extra 1/16th inch, there is nothing more than can be done. Because putter grips are not sold in the volume of a non-putter grip and tooling a grip is extremely expensive, we will not have a longer, conforming version of that top grip in this next calendar year.
