Hi Jeff,

I've been out of the game for a little while, kids can do that to you, hope you've been doing well. A friend wants me to reshaft his older TM rescue 5 fariway wood. Its steel but he wants a graphite to match the 3 wood which has the stock r flex mas 55 fairway, soft tip shaft. Any ideas? I have seen him hit a lot of different clubs but that 3 wood is by far his best club. No idea how old it is, but 3 or more would be my guess. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If I make the 3 year old a set of clubs I have to take him out right? Please!!!!!!!!!

Hi Tim:

The TaylorMade fairway will be e a .350" shaft so you will need one of the bushing ferrules depending upon which model it is to use a .335" shaft. But double check all the diameters first since you mentioned "rescue". The Gafalloy ProLaunch Blue 55 or the Fujikura E150 may be as closest shafts.

There maybe sort sort of Canadian law that prohibits you and your son from playing any golf until after the Olympics are over
