It had been tipped to a 7 iron and played 37", but he had added 8 grams to the head. I really liked its feel. What Apollo shaft would play close to a TX-90? You might also consider the Acculite 85 as well as that would a little lighter and provide a similar trajectory. I saw a 1.1 degree difference in trajectory while a good friend of mine (who is a better ball striker) averaged only 0.1 degrees more with the Acculite 85.
