Jeff,
I've got a Thriver head en route. I have an old Graphalloy M29 Attack shaft as well as a Bimatrix laying around. Would either of those be appropriate for the Thriver?

Those shafts are night and day differences between the two. The most important part is whether either of those shafts fit your swing profile. The M29 Attack (depending upon what year it was made) is a heavier weight shaft, but middle of the road in terms of stiffness and trajectory. The BiMatrix is a lighter shaft and will hit the ball lower.

Hmm...I currently swing a 10.5 Mactec driver with an R Fujikara quadra flex shaft. I hit my drives 215-225ish with a medium trajectory. The reason I'm trying the Thriver is to get a little higher launch angle. If neither of those shafts fit the bill, (the Graphalloy is probably 10 years old) What do you recommend?

If the goal is hitting it higher, the loft of the Thriver should do that. But if you want a shaft of similar weight to what you have and with a softer tip section, look at the he the Acer Velocity.
