My favorite driver that I've hit to this day (and I regret ever getting rid of it) was a TaylorMade r7 draw, 13.5 degrees, with the regular flex Re-Ax 55 shaft. I'm thinking the Thriver can give me similar performance, but with added control due to the shorter length, if I choose the right shaft option. From my interpretation of everything, it looks like the Fujikura E150 would be the closest in performance to the Re-Ax 55. Am I on target here, or off base? I don't see any issue with the shaft matching the Thriver unless you had a short or quick swing, in which a heavier weight shaft may be in order.
