True Ace Red Storm hybrid shaft

Just as an experiment I built my driver with a True Ace Red Storm hybrid .335 wood shaft. I did not trim the tip at all. As it worked out I did not trim the butt either. In my head the raw length made my driver 45" exactly. This is slightly heavy for a driver shaft however this has turned out to be the best driver shaft I have played. I am hitting the longest drives ever. This is the third shaft I have had in this head. I have found the right flex and launch angle for me. Plus the shafts were on sale for $5.95!!! I may buy several more just to have on hand if I try a different head. Maybe one of the square heads.
