Ping TiSi ferrule insert

Is it possible to save the ferrule insert from a Ping TiSi? I want to change a shaft in one of these, but I don't want to wait several days to get a new ferrule insert.

I plan to use a sand pot to heat the clubhead to remove the ping shaft without ruining it. I guess the question is will the ferrule insert withstand 275° or so? And then will it be reusable?

thanks ..
