Shaft Question - Which for a Bang Bangenstein

I am looking to put together a 12 degree Bangenstein and debating between using and SK Pure Energy or an Accuflex Icon 3 (assuming I can still find one). My swing is on the slower side (80-85 mph) due to my inability to get a full backswing. Any input, advice, or other shaft suggestions would be appreciated.

The Pure Energy will have a more flexible tip section and possibly a higher launch angle. The thing to be cautious with is the weight and flex of the shaft. With a shorter swing, if the club is too light, too flexible or both, it could lead to inconsistency problems. Look at your existing clubs that you hit well and see if the shaft are light or heavy and if you fare better with shorter clubs that might require a heavier type shaft than the two you selected.

Jeff Summitt
