Fairway woods-Acer XK and Caiman

Hey Jeff,
I'm looking to add a 5W and have compared the above clubs. The specs for both seem to be fairly similar. Can you advise as to how each club will play vs the other or maybe the type of player each club is more suited for. If shafts being equal, I'm looking for a mid/high flight and experience a slight fade, but not that often. Thanks!!

These are fairly similar in terms of playability. The Caiman came out first. I liked how well the variable crown worked, we used it in the XK, plus added the variable face thickness. The XK is broader from front to back and as a result has a slightly deeper CG and may be less prone to hitting the ball with a fade, but only slightly.

Jeff Summitt

At this time no since few have the same trouble of making solid contact with the shorter, higher-lofted fairway woods.

Jeff Summitt
