Of the Royal Sand Wrap Grips (sizes .580 & .600), which would be the thicker grip under the same size butt end of a golf shaft? I would think the .600 would be thinner to achieve the same size outer diameter over the slighty larger shaft. I have seen other instances where it was just the opposite and wanted clarification. Also do theses grips have a rougher outer surface similar to a corded grip?

The .580" grip will stretch over a .600" butt end and expand making the final grip size larger than the same grip, but with a .600" inside core diameter. I would not go so far to say these have a rougher surface than a cord, it is more textured.
