Hireko Golf Announces New for 2013 Power Play Warp Speed Stainless and Brassie Fairway Woods

The Power Play Warp Speed Brassie is perfect as a control club off the tee or to reach those long par 4s

City of Industry, California - Hireko Golf, one of the golf industry's most complete sources for golf clubs, components, clubmaking tools, supplies, and technical knowledge announced today the arrival of their new for 2013 Power Play Warp Speed Fairway Woods and Power Play Warp Speed Brassie Fairway Woods.

The multi-material construction of the Power Play Warp Speed Fairway Woods fuse a super-thin, specialty steel face to a forged stainless steel body for superior results. When combined with an aerodynamic body shape and a 4-way radius sole, which reduces contact with the turf for any course condition, makes this series one, if not, the most user-friendly fairway woods in the Hireko Golf line. The Power Play Warp Speed Fairway Woods are available custom assembled (with free headcover) in right hand #3, #5, #7 for $54.95 at www.hirekogolf.com.

The Power Play Warp Speed Brassie Fairway Wood is a special shallow faced control tee golf club and a club to use in the fairway when you have a good lie and need the maximum distance to reach a par 5 or long par 4. The very large footprint at address produces a high-MOI fairway wood golf clubhead (24% more forgiving than a typical 3 wood) and lower lofted to produce a flatter trajectory with less spin for added distance. The Power Play Warp Speed Brassie also features a brass PVD finish on the face and sole.

Hireko Golf's Technical Director Jeff Summitt states, "The Power Play Warp Speed Brassie has a very large footprint at address – only 12% smaller than the matching driver. If it were the height of a typical driver, then the volume would comparable to a 380 cc driver telling you just how forgiving it is. If you want to compare the Brassie to a typical #3 wood, then it will be approximately 24% more forgiving. In layman’s terms – you’ll hit the Power Play Warp Speed Brassie straighter. But remember, the face is still shallow and easy enough to hit off of the deck. Rest assured “that ain’t gonna happen with a driver”. We thinned the crown area out as much as possible to maintain a low as well as rearward center of gravity to get the ball up and out with less spin."

The custom assembled Power Play Warp Speed Brassie Fairway Woods are available in right hand 13 degrees loft and come with a free Power Play headcover. They are available custom assembled online for $59.95 each at www.hirekogolf.com.
