Nice Driver Review by Bruce
Rating
I had a UST ProForce V2 in a 10.5 degree driver, but wanted a higher trajectory. I figured I'd try a 12 degree head, pulled the shaft and opted for this XF head. The swing weight was a little high for me, so I ordered the optional lighter weight. The good thing about the lighter weight screw is that it is hollow, so you can use a medium (lead, solder, etc) to tweak the swing weight. The additional loft really improved the ball flight and distance improved, probably 20 yards. The sound is a little louder that the previous head (Adams 9088UL), but not objectionable. Definitely recommend. (Posted on 9/14/2016)

Five Stars Review by Tyler

Look: clean setup, nice black paint, sole graphics/design looks tight.
Sound: beautiful, a slightly muted and "classic" titanium sound.
Feel: solid.
Key feature is the Forgiveness: I can't believe how long mishits still go, and this forgiveness seems to include the WHOLE face.
Well done Hireko.

If you're curious here are the build notes:
First build was an ultralight shaft with a 7G tip weight in this 12° head, at a mere 43" finished length. Worked well for finding fairways but the shaft cracked. New build, fine tuned = No tip weight, now using Aerotech Claymore MX48 F4, final length of 44", Pure standard black grip.
...Oh my is this a killer combo for those of you that like a driver to be super-light yet stable and accurate. (Posted on 5/14/2015)
Very Nice Look Feel Performance Review by EDWARD

Working on scoring this year -- i.e. accuracy, consistency. Wanted 14 degree normal driver -- hard to find. Make all my own and wife's clubs. Bought the XF and used inexpensive stiff shaft good up to 100mph. Though I can swing in the 100mph range, I went with a slower, more accurate swing and very soft golf balls. Club looks good, feels good, sounds good, hits it very straight. Using a soft ball (Lady Precept IQ) and slow swing I get just over 200yd carry -- what I was after. As I work my way back to a 10.5 or 9.5 degree over this summer (and bring back the "long ball", I'll be looking at the XF. Already bought an XF draw in 10.5 and XF Titanium Fairway 5 to try because I was so satisfied with this XS. Deduct one star because no screw-in adjustable weight on sole -- otherwise no complaints. Great Club! Review by Justin

Love this club; I've had it for a year now and have enough data to finally write a review. When I put it in the loft/lie gauge, it was right on spec. I have the QuickFit version, so I played around with a lot of different shafts. My two best couplings were with the True Ace Blue Crush and a Proto By You (both at 44.5"). I also liked the sound at impact. (Posted on 1/18/2013)
