These precision cast, stainless steel adapters are designed to fit virtually any putter with a 0.370" parallel bore 90° socket and transform it into an entirely different putter regardless of manufacturer. Each has an attractive neutral bead blast finish and three styles to choose from. Directions: Simply test fit stem into the putter’s socket as it should be a tight fit. If it does not fit, lightly hand sand stem until it is snug. Apply quick setting epoxy to stem, seat and align adapter and allow the epoxy to harden. Lastly, install the new shaft – it’s that simple!

The Slant Hosel adapter converts a RH putter designed to have a compound triple bent shaft with the proper lie and reduced or non-offset configuration and accept a straight shaft. Weighs 44g. Creates a 72 degree lie angle.

Questions on Slant Hosel Putter Adapter

  • From Phil at 3/12/2013 12:56 PM
    • Can these putter hosel adapters be bent once installed to accommodate adjustments in loft and lie?
    • Phil:

      The hosel pieces are made of stainless steel, which are normally bendable. You are going to have to tighten the screws securely and make sure you have a very good putter bending machine that will not allow the head to move when you attempt to bend the hosel. I doubt you can change the loft, but you may have a chance to adjust the lie slightly.

    • how much offset does the have? can the offset be adjusted?
    • John,

      The offset will have to do with where the socket is located relative to the leading edge of the face. But to put that into perspective, the slant has 0.185" more offset than the straight neck (no offset) adapter and 0.185" less than the plumber's neck adapter (full offset).

    • can these be bent/adjusted for lie/offset?
    • John,

      The are constructed from 431 stainless, so from a material standpoint could be bent. From a practical side, they may not as you are relying on the little over 1/2" post to absorb all the force after it has been epoxied into place.

    • Can this be used on a LH putter for the conversion i.e. turned 180 deg around?
    • Mike,

      It was designed as a RH product only. If you did place it into a LH putter with a 90 degree socket, it would create negative offset.

    • What is the diameter of the bottom of post.
    • Derek;

      The bottom post (portion that fits inside the head) is 0.370" diameter.
