The intelligent design provides better distance gapping between each club in the set and yet the consolidation of one club in the bag. Designed to take advantage of today's popular lighter and higher launching iron shafts, The Caiman X2 irons possess slightly stronger lofts to drive rather than balloon the ball to the target, while still sticking it on the green. This is only possible by the multi-cavity design concentrating weight low with balanced heel and toe weighting for remarkable forgiveness.

Product Questions

I have a set of shafts that I want to use with these clubs. Would the Nippon NS Pro 950 work well with these heads?

If they are 0.370" parallel tip, they will work. If they are tapered, then they won't fit unless you were to shim them.

Which high launch light weight graphite shaft works best with the Caiman X2 irons? Using standard lengths will I need to add weight in order to get D2 swing weight?

Let's answer the easy question first. If you go to standard lengths, then yes you will need to add weight to the head, reduce weight from the butt or extend the length to achieve the D2 swingweight. There are a number of 95g or lighter (cut weight) shafts that are high launch like Apollo Acculite series, Phantom, FST 90 or 115, KBS Tour 90, True Temper GS series or Dynalite Gold SL. It all depends upon what flex you need, just how light and what price point your budget is.

same question concerning the steel shaft that you would recommend for the cal man x2 irons. i play with true temper dynamic gold stiff steel shaft now .hit 5 iron 200 yards.

Obviously distance is not an issue for you. One option is to stay with the Dynamic Gold for the same control and you would have a little lower ball trajectory in the lowered numbered irons. If you wanted a lighter weight version, the Dynamic Gold SL would be a good choice.

It will depend upon what flex you need or how fast you swing. Plus any certain considerations like what brand or price range (if any) you require.

Do this irons have the ability to be bent for lie adjustments?

Yes. Scroll down and you will see a box that says "no bending" next to Lie Adjustment. Click on the drop down menu and you can order these pre-bent 1 or 2 degrees upright or flat for an additional $4.50 per iron head.

Are the blade lengths on the X2 irons progressive? By that I mean, is the 9 iron head shorter than all of the iron heads above it (4, 5, 6, 7, 8)?

The 9-iron has a blade length of 82.5mm compared to 83.5mm for the 5-iron.

MISCELLANEOUS CHARGES

Address Correction Fees

Hireko is not responsible for fees charged by Fedex, UPS, Post Office or other shippers in instances where the customer provides Hireko with incorrect ship to or bill to address information (Street, City, State, Zip Code, etc.). Shipper correction fees will be the responsibility of the customer and the customer will therefore be charged for such fees.

These correction fees are applicable on orders generated from the following sources: phone orders, internet, email, regular postal mail, fax, edi, or other electronic means.

 

WARRANTY

The manufacturer warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the original invoice date. The manufacturer agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge. The customer is responsible for freight to Hireko to return the defective product. Hireko will return the replacement product (or returned product if not deemed under warranty) at no charge. Claims are subject to verification of the defect or malfunction. Submit clear pictures and proof of purchase confirmed by the original dated sales receipt for us to decide if the product will be covered under warranty prior to shipping your repair back to us for inspection. Products not purchased directly from Hireko or hirekogolf.com must be returned to the original retailer. Warranty claims may take up to 45 days to process from time of receipt.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use.
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care.
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents.
  • Product loss or theft
  • Any alterations made to the product not specifically intended by the product's design, including cosmetic and structural changes.
  • Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse
  • Damages incurred during transportation.
  • Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance.
  • Clubhead dents anywhere except on the face of a club.
  • Shafts broken in the middle of the club.
  • Custom golf clubs ordered online cannot be returned if they do not fit the golfer; buyer assumes the risk when ordering.
  • Chipped paint or scuff marks
  • Clubhead cracks not made from clubface contact.
