What shaft would you recommend with the 68 degree Acer XB Satin wedge?
Question by: Tom on Jan 10, 2013, 11:40 AM
Tom:

It all depends on what you are currently using in your wedges. I would try to match it up so you have a consistent feel throughout the set.

I did not see any description of the groove design. Are they "U", box, or "V"? Compliant to PGa &/or USGA?
Question by: Guy on Aug 12, 2013, 1:47 PM
Guy,

They are a modified U-groove and all lofts and finishes do Conform to the Rules of Golf.

What alloy are these wedges made from?

I have noticed that the alloy is no longer listed for most of your wedges and irons.

What is the purpose of the rounded leading edge?
Question by: Gary Paul on Aug 9, 2014, 1:08 PM
Gary,

It allows you to open or close the face of the wedge and not have it look like there is an open or closed club face compared to if the leading edge was straight.

I do not see bounce options when ordering How an Acer 60 deg satin wedge, how do I order 12 degree bounce specific?
Question by: Shadow Custom Golf on Jan 16, 2015, 7:28 PM
Shadow Custom Golf,

Each loft is only available with one bounce option and not multiple like you might see from Cleveland or Titlelist. The 60 degree model in this series was designed with 12º bounce.

Are the 50 and 52 degree options basically the same piece of metal but one is bent to the other loft?

I ask because I'm wondering whether a left handed 50 degree that is essentially the same as the RH version can be made by bending the 52.

thanks
Question by: Paul on May 7, 2015, 1:51 PM
Paul,

These come from two separate toolings and not shared and bent.
Answer by: Richard Lin on May 8, 2015, 1:05 PM
which clubs can the loft be bent on?
Question by: dean on Feb 4, 2016, 2:51 PM
Dean,

These are made of 431 stainless and can be bent for loft (like lie) up to 2 degrees. However, we do not offer the service of bending for loft. You can have that done most likely at a local shop.

Do these have milled faces or are they non textured?
Question by: chris on Jul 26, 2016, 6:22 AM
Chris,

These are non-textured. The only milled face wedges we offer are the Dynacraft DMC Forged.

Would be nice if the degree stamp was larger and or about the same size as a normal iron. Harder to see for us older guys. Thanks.
Question by: Henry on May 11, 2017, 5:45 PM
Henry,

It would be impossible for us to change now as we have had these in the line for 6 or 7 years and they are on the USGA conforming club list. If we change the size of the font, then it is deemed a new model and it would cost us thousands of dollars in tooling and re-submission fees to the USGA to have them re-tested..
Answer by: Richard Lin on May 12, 2017, 5:05 PM
Are the Acer XB's being phased out? If so, are they being replaced by a new wedge line that will offer the same loft options and hopefully the same unique sole grind?
Question by: John on Jul 27, 2017, 10:28 AM
John,

The satin finish will remain in the line. Only the black, mirror and pearl chrome finishes were retired.
