I need a #5 hybrid. None is listed on this order form. Is the 5 not available?
Question by: Jim on Nov 15, 2015, 12:57 AM
Jim,

If you are looking for a RH #5, it is listed next to the SW on the bottom row. However, if you are looking for LH, it was discontinued a year ago and we will not be reordering.

My son has decided he wants to try a hybrid set to make the game easier for himself. He struggles with his irons but pounds his hybrid. How should I order them? Senior flex or ladies and length? He's almost 5'6, 150 lbs and 12 years old. Thanks!
Question by: Tom Bowles on Jul 13, 2016, 8:30 AM
Tom,

I would look at the hybrids he is pounding now to see what flex they are. In terms of length, hybrids can be all over the place, so I would first look up the hybrid you have and see what length it is relative to what the manufacturer originally suggested as standard. If the clubs were cut down 1/2" or special ordered 1/2" less than standard, that is how I would order the XDS React hybrids.

How can I tell a senior flex from a regular flex hybrid graphite shaft? How is the senior flex marking/part number marked on the shaft?
Question by: Ron Shumaker on Nov 17, 2016, 8:37 PM
Ron,

If it is the stock Acer Velocity shaft, there will be a sticker with a small A (for senior) or R on it to designate flex.

Are Acer XDS React Hybrid - Custom Assembled clubs approved for competition by usga? I cant find the hybrid on the allowed list, and do not want to purchase something that could be banned in amateur competition or not be allowed in competition play
Question by: Michael on Mar 21, 2017, 5:21 PM
Michael,

They were never submitted to the USGA for an official ruling.

Hello,
I am interested in a #3 and #5 hybrid clubs. There is mention of customizing the club shaft length, but there is no mention of the standard size for the clubs. What are the standard length of the shafts, please. Thanks.
Question by: Phil on May 31, 2017, 9:58 PM
Phil,

Men's standard length (with graphite shafts) for the Acer XDS React hybrids are 39.5" (for the #3) and 38.5" (for the #5). This is the complete club length and not the shaft length (which will be shorter).

Why haven't they been submitted to the USGA? I just ordered these clubs. I do not
Want to use any illegal clubs.
Question by: Neil Gold on Jul 12, 2017, 4:05 PM
Neil,

We made a decision a few years ago not to submit our clubs to the USGA because of the cost. Our customers were not asking that they be submitted and they didn't want to have to pay more for the heads to do so. There is nothing forcing manufacturers to submit product - it is totally voluntary.
