What is the blade length, sole width, and height of the of these Acer XS HT Iron Heads ? My wife is looking for a shovel on a stick .... are these the most forgiving heads you carry ?
Question by: Jason on Apr 8, 2014, 8:40 AM
Jason,

5 iron Blade length - 82.5 mm, Sole Width 21 mm, Toe Height 51 mm

As far as forgiveness, it would be one, if not the most forgiving of the irons we offer.

Based on previous information you provided-- I have come to closure on a combination of Irons, hybrids, and shafts:
#13694 Acer XS HT #5- SW
#IW1287 Acer XF Draw #3-4 (fade compensating) loft & weight seem OK?
Graphite Design G-Tech A flex
Jumbo grips necessary
Current swing speed on TT-Lite Regular flex 5 Iron is under 60.

Please advise-----Thanks, Dick

Dick,

The Acer XF Draw hybrids can blend in with the Acer XS HT irons, so I don't see any issue with that. Without knowing what your tempo is, it is hard to say what a good match in shaft is. But the G-Tech will definitely be more flexible and lighter than what you have been currently using.

Same question as Tim M. except I'm looking at the left handed 9 iron.
The southpaw in the family wants to learn golf. One more question, how do these match up with L shafts. Lefty is the youngest of my three daughters.
