how does the offset compare to the xs model in the 3 wood?
Question by: kim rochelle on Mar 18, 2015, 11:09 PM
Kim,

There is no offset on these as they have a standard or straight neck hosel. This would be the same as as the XS model in terms of face progression or how far out the leading edge of the face protrudes in front of the hosel.

Will the Acer XV have a left hand 7 wood in the future.
Question by: Russ Drapeau on Aug 21, 2015, 11:41 AM
Russ,

Sorry, what you see is all that will be available. Most golfers looking for the distance of a 7-wood will often opt for the #3 hybrid instead.

The weight of the club head does it include the weight plug? say a 3 wood, is it 203 + 7g? or 210 + 7g?

Actually, I want to find a lighter head, so that I can reduce push. I do not want to reduce the shaft length to achieve lighter swing weight. May be in the future, you can create a leggera fairway wood...
Question by: Ken on May 13, 2016, 1:24 PM
Ken,

The weight includes the screw so it is 210 grams. You can use the optional 2g screw to create a "Leggera" or light head and it would drop to 205 grams.

The Acer XV will have a little higher performance face due to the thinner cup face construction, but both a very good heads.

How does the weight port and weights affect ball flight?
Question by: Robert Woodrick on Jul 3, 2021, 9:05 PM
The weights are more for fine-tuning swingweight based on the length. However, a heavier weight could potentially cause a slightly higher ball flight than a lighter weight.
