Second time--When will you be getting left-handed clubs? Availability of right hand does not interest me.
Question by: Winston Phillips on Apr 21, 2015, 8:39 PM
Winston,

Don't expect LH as we haven't invested into tooling for a LH version.

When installing a shaft in this club head, does it need to be tip trimmed as a driver or a wood, or in between?
Question by: Jonathan on May 4, 2015, 3:46 PM
Jonathan,

Treat the Thriver Mini as a 3-wood as far as tip trimming and length. The exception would be if you use the optional 2g screw versus the 7 gram model that comes stock with the head. In that case, I would treat that combination as if it were a 2-wood.

Any plans to offer in 12 degrees like the Taylormade and Upcoming Callaway?
Question by: Jason Slone on May 18, 2015, 10:45 PM
Jason,

Sorry no. The loft is already 13 degrees and a reduction of loft of 1 degrees does not equate to a degree reduction in launch angle coming off of the face.

All things being equal.....Shaft, SW, Club Head Speed, Center Contact, etc, Which head produces greater overall distance......XV Thriver Mini, or the XS Titanium Fairway?? Or...Which heads has a higher CT rating??
Question by: Rich on Jul 12, 2015, 12:01 PM
Rick,

The only thing for certain is the XV Thriver Mini will have the higher MOI or level of forgiveness. The CT of each is essentially the same and as far as distance, that may come down to confidence and solidness of contact.

Will this head be available as a draw Thriver in the future ?
Question by: Chuck on Nov 1, 2015, 7:08 AM
Chuck,

We have no immediate plans of offering this model in a draw (or offset) version.

This is sort of an off the wall question. Do you have a headcover in stock, other than a driver headcover, that fits the XV thriver?
Question by: Tony on Jan 9, 2016, 10:36 PM
Tony,

Most fairway covers (like the Acer) will fit this head.

Is this head USGA legal?
Question by: gdsdad48 on May 22, 2016, 10:32 AM
It has not been submitted to the USGA for a formal ruling, but it should have no problems passing all the Rules of Golf.

i am planning on building one of these at 42" length. will i need to order a heavier weight to achieve the proper swing weight? thanks, andy
Question by: andy hilbun on Mar 28, 2017, 7:06 AM
Andy,

If you order this club at 42" rather than the normal men's standard length of 43", then I would highly advise to get the optional 12 gram screw. Even with that, the swingweight will be slightly lower than standard.
