When can we expect these irons to arrive??? Also, will they offer a Sand Wedge??
I'm about to build a new set of irons, and am contemplatin the XV Tour Blade Iron heads, but have now gained a real interest in these new Dynacraft Irons....
Question by: Bob R on Feb 11, 2017, 3:06 PM
Bob,

We expect them in stock mid-March. No sand wedge will be offered in this set.

What metal type (e.g. 431, 17-4) is used to manufacture the Dynacraft Prophet Muscle Blade Iron heads? I'd like to know, because the lie angles of these iron are 2 to 3 degrees too upright for me, and I would need to get them adjusted. If the metal is too hard and brittle to be able to bend them, then it would probably not be the right club heads for me to purchase. Thanks.
Question by: Egidiou Lee on Feb 12, 2017, 8:28 PM
Egidiou,

The face is 17-4, while the rest of the body is 431. You should be able to bend them 2º.

Is it possible to forward to me some more photos of these heads (different angles, profiles) or add more pics to the website? The catalog image is beautiful but I'd love some more images.
Thanks so much,

Matt Hubley

Matt;

We do not have any other images of these yet. Perhaps as we get closer to having them in stock we will have more.

What is the 5 iron length..
Question by: John mcwhirter on Feb 28, 2017, 11:47 AM
John,

Are you looking for blade length or suggested assembly length? If blade length, it is 80mm on the 5-iron. For assembly length, we suggest for men's standard 38" (with steel) and 38.5" for graphite. Ladies is 1" shorter.

Jeff, do these new muscle blade iron heads have a similar appearance at address as the XV blade and XV Pro, preferred by better players? Thin topline, etc? Thank you.
Question by: OW on Mar 14, 2017, 2:13 AM
Because these are hollow body it is difficult to make them a narrow topline. The width is only marginally larger than the XS Pro, but much less than the the XS standard. The better players we had hit these during the developmental phase didn't even mention an issue with the topline.

How are these different than the CB irons. Who are they designed for?

Thanks
Question by: Bob on Mar 27, 2017, 12:02 PM
Bob,

Instead of an open cavity, these are hollow bodied, but much of the same technologies are built in to both. This model has less offset, not as wide of a sole and bendable for lie.
Answer by: Richard Lin on Mar 28, 2017, 12:03 PM
These are Forged correct ? Are they Offset ?
Question by: Frank on Mar 28, 2017, 11:47 AM
Frank,

These are a two-piece cast head with the face of a higher strength material than the rest of the body. You can see the offset amounts by clicking on the specification tab just above the description. These would be considered reduced offset models.

How do these compare with the Dynacraft driving iron? I.E I've the 24d DI and would the 6i down in these transition well?
Question by: paul h on Jul 6, 2017, 7:20 AM
Paul,

We used the same technologies as the Driving Iron series to make these irons. The Prophet MB irons are not as wide soled as the Driving iron series so they will look more traditional, but still have the high COR face and high MOI design. The lofts are strong on the Prophet MB, so look at that when choosing which number you need to start with if you are making a blended set.
Answer by: Richard Lin on Jul 7, 2017, 7:07 AM
Shame we couldn't have a transition set using these at the shorter end of the bag, the dynacraft driving iron head up top and a mash up of the two in the middle
Question by: paul h on Jul 6, 2017, 8:53 AM
Paul,

They can be mixed as the driving irons only have the loft rather than the numbers on the sole. For instance if you have the 18 and 21 degree driving irons, then you can use the 5 thru wedges in the Prophet Muscle Blade. Or if you had the 24º driving iron, you would start the Prophet Muscle Blade with the 6-iron.
