Question by: Robert Conaway on May 27, 2013, 10:20 AM
Robert,

The hosel is too short and insertion depth too deep on this model to be able to adjust the lie.

Which of your weight screws will fit the Power Play System Q Hybrid Clubheads?
Question by: Jim Davis on Apr 17, 2014, 4:55 PM
Jim,

Please scroll down below the description to related items and you will find the screws to fit the System Q hybrids. The screws that come with these hybrids are all 6g and you will need a 4mm Allen wrench.

I have a Acer XS Pro iron 6-PW with FST 115 Steel R-flex (recommended length i6-37,5 club "). Now I want to make a Power Play System Q Hybrid #3, #4 and #5 of the same FST 115 Steel R- fex shafts. How long should these hybrids? H #5 should be 38" or 39" in length, or perhaps still others long? I do not want to be too small or too large difference in distance between i6 and H5.
Question by: Chris on Mar 14, 2015, 9:11 AM
Chris,

The #5 hybrid in the System Q is recommended to be 39" with steel as the weight is 244g. That is essentially the weight of a 3-iron and thus should be tip trimmed as a 3-iron. If you want a shorter length, this will require heavier screws. The screws for the new Acer XV will fit with the heaviest weight being 12g. The screw inside the System Q are 6g so you would need to replace two 6 gram screws with two 12 grams screws so you can make the club 1" shorter and closer to the assembly length you want.

What does it mean to have negative offset numbers?
Question by: Gary Paul on Apr 4, 2015, 11:17 AM
Gary,

This means they have a face forward design like a fairway wood. Offset is the amount how far forward the leading edge of the hosel is ahead of the leading edge of the face. A negative number shows how far behind the leading edge of the hosel is compared to the leading edge of the face.

Hi,
Are these heads conforming? I saw on the q&a that one of your other hybrids wasnt. Thanks
Question by: Paul on May 4, 2015, 3:12 PM
Paul,

At the time we submitted them prior to Jan 1, 2010, they did come back as conforming to the Rules of Golf. With the change in the groove rule, I doubt they would pass the more stringent standard for those that play under the Condition of Competition. The Power Play Select 5000 was the other hybrid you were thinking about that did not come back with a conforming ruling.

Do these conform to the rules of golf?
Question by: Christopher West on Dec 27, 2015, 11:49 AM
Christopher,

The answer is both yes and no. These are an older model that was produced long before the 2010 groove rule was even drafted. When we submitted these heads, they did conform to the Rules of Golf at the time and would in effect be grandfathered in. The only exception would be when the Condition of Competition is in effect, which few golfers compete under.

Apparently the system Q hybrids are not available for all irons. I assume the product is discontinued. What do you offer ( or recommend ) as an equivalent type of club
Question by: Stephen Martin on Oct 31, 2016, 6:24 PM
Stephen,

The Power Play System Q hybrid was retired almost 2 years now. The Acer XV hybrids (3, 4 and 5) would be the most similar today, but we did not replace the 6-wedges. We only offer two full sets of hybrids and of the two, look at the XDS React.
