I had the Lamkin PXG grips. What grip of yours would be a good replacement?

I might suggest the Lamkin Sonar.

The Z5 (Lamkin PXG) and Sonar are both standard weight grips and have a micro-textured surface. In Karma, the only remotely similar grip would be the Neion II.

There is a ribbed core, but it will not be very pronounced when installed onto a shaft.

I received an email on these and it mentioned the standard size tends to run slightly smaller than traditional men's standard. I assume the same can be said for the midsize?

There are no industry standards for midsize, oversize or jumbo. Generally you will see a fraction afterwards to reflect the true size. The Super Lite midsize measures +1/32" over men's standard size (0.900" measured 2" down from the end cap). The oversize in this series is +3/32",
