what are the specs on the senior flex shafts?

I am looking at some stratos irons with "a flex". I am confused by the various flex numbers. Please advise.

A-flex and Senior flex are one in the same. The "A" stands for Amateur flex, but is more commonly called senior.

Are these irons finished more durably like irons or less so like painted hybrids? I'm hoping to avoid iron covers but can't stand chipped paint. Bag chatter isn't a big deal...Thanks

The Stratos hybrid irons are painted on the back flange so we would encourage you to use iron covers to protect with paint from chipping.
