Nico,
R is for regular flex, while the A standard for Amateur or what most golfers refer to as senior flex. We do not offer this model in anything stiffer than regular flex and they cannot be customized for the shaft or grip like our Acer, Dynacraft, Power Play and iBella lines.

The Powerbilt EX-550 hybrid-irons have a hosel ID of 0.370".
