I am looking to know what the swing speed are for R & S SK Fiber shafts. I am kind of in between the two. Please let me know. Thanks.

James,

I you are worried you are in-between flexes, then the Tour Trac 55 will allow you to create that. Use the R-flex and trim an extra 1" off of the tip for a little lower ball flight or take the S-flex and trim 1" less off the tip for a higher ball flight.

Hi Jeff
What would the swing speed ranges be on the Tour Trac 55 A flex wood shaft. Thanks Mik

Mik,

I would look at 74 - 91 mph depending upon which trim chart you use.

Here is a DSFI related question. Say you find an SK Fiber iron shaft that seems to work very well for you. Then look up the DSFI number for that shaft. Does this translate into driver shafts? If I get a driver shaft with the same approximate DSFI with the shaft weight I am looking for, should it work well for me?

In theory yes. However, I have seen golfer's who possess more of an aggressive swing with their driver (and/or fairway woods) and more of a deliberate swing for their irons and wedges. If that was the case, then you might need a shaft with a higher DSFI for the woods. But if the tempo is the same for all clubs, then it is reasonable to find a wood shaft with a similar DSFI. Make sure to look at the tables in Chapter 5 of the Shaft Fitting Addendum.
