William,

If you are talking about the older Big Bertha heads with the bore through hosel, these would be compatible. Remember to take 1" less off the recommended tip trimming to account for the through bore design.

My graphite shaft butt size is 0.595. Will one Layer of type be good enough to keep an m60 grip on solid and tight on this shaft? If it comes out slightly smaller than standard that is ok.

Greg,

One layer of standard masking tape will bring a 0.595" butt end up to 0.602". It will still hold if you don't, but become slightly undersized.

Are the butt diameter dimensions correct on the iron shafts, specifically the R/S? .580 seems small. If it is correct, would a .600 core grip fit on it?

The specifications are correct. You can put a 0.600" grip on this shaft, but we would encourage you to add a couple layers of build up tape to bring the diameter up to 0.600" to achieve normal grip sizing.
